Vassar Brothers Medical Center part of Nuvance Health and now Northwell Health has an excellent opportunity for an inpatient Gastroenterologist (GI Hospitalist) in Poughkeepsie New York located about 75 miles north of New York City. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long established busy and growing practice. Attractive 7 on 7 off schedule with 12-hour shifts.
The ideal candidate will be a board certified/eligible gastroenterologist looking to join a highly collegial team. We offer a highly competitive compensation package comprehensive benefits and generous allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses.

Located on the banks of the scenic Hudson River Vassar Brothers Medical Center has a new 752000 square-foot eight-level inpatient pavilion with 263 private medical/surgical patient rooms and 30 critical care rooms. Vassar provides the leading acute and critical emergency care in the region including Level II Trauma Service and Interventional Neuroradiology. Vassar has established centers of excellence in cardiac services neurosciences cancer care and womens health. Vassar is consistently ranked as one of the strongest cardiac programs in the United States and one of the Top 100 Heart Hospitals by Modern HealthCare Magazine.
