Demand Planning Intern
Job Summary:
NXP Semiconductors is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Demand Planning Intern to support our dynamic supply chain team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the semiconductor industry contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of our demand forecasting processes.
Job Responsibilities:
Support demand planning activities by helping collect organize and analyze sales data market trends and customer forecasts.
Assist in building and communicating forecasting models by learning how statistical tools and methods are used across the team.
Help develop KPIs and simple analytical tools to identify demand patterns anomalies risks and opportunities.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by helping streamline demand planning processes and documentation.
Perform data entry validation and other administrative tasks to ensure accurate and reliable demand planning information.
Learn and apply NXPs demand planning systems and software with training and support from the team.
Job Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration Economics Industrial Engineering or a related quantitative field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Familiarity with statistical analysis concepts is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Proactive self-starter with a strong desire to learn and contribute.
Experience with data science programming languages (Python R) or data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI) is a plus but not required.
