What does a Ground Control Support (GCS) really do
Think of yourself as the eyes of the Autonomous and Roadside Assistance Service Fleet.
Ground Control Supports support the Autonomous Fleet and Roadside Assistance Team. Utilizing remote tooling Ground Control Supports support operations with real-time remote troubleshooting for autonomous vehicles in the operating environment.
As a Ground Control Support youll provide remote assistance monitoring to the Roadside Assistance Service team providing scene context and acting as a bridge between the Roadside Assistance Service team and other internal and external departments.
As a Ground Control Support you will:
Need to respond quickly to changing and potentially high-pressure environments
Proactively monitor the autonomous and roadside assistance service fleet and inform the roadside assistance service team of potential strandings
Prepare roadside assistance service team for law enforcement officer events ahead of our teammates arrival to the scene
Monitor real time adherence and ensure the roadside assistance service team is following their production break and lunch schedule
Use Driver Monitoring software to ensure drivers are maintaining the highest level of safety
Doing this job well looks like:
Maintaining a high standard of safety
Consistently demonstrating situational awareness an understanding of the technology and a willingness to constantly adjust to changes in the environment
Meeting the service level expectations of our client
Requirements:
So what is it were looking for Well since this is a Subject Matter Expert role we need someone with a Remote Assistance background with previous experience working in a call center environment and preferably with logistics experience.
Now lets get technical. Were looking for someone who is a strategic thinker with strong logistics and creative problem-solving skills. Someone with experience providing constructive criticism and implementing corrective action plans.
What else Well we need someone who has a high-level understanding of customer confidentiality standards and also has a passion for the development of teammates.
