Job Purpose
The SCM Executive Advanced Demand Planning & Analytics will drive data-led technology-enabled demand
planning and supply chain decisions across General Trade Modern Trade E-commerce and Quick-commerce
channels. The role focuses on leveraging advanced analytics automation and planning tools to improve forecast
accuracy inventory efficiency and service levels within a complex FMCG distribution network.
Key Responsibilities
Develop analytics-driven demand forecasts using historical sales tertiary offtake seasonality promotions
festive spikes and market intelligence.
Perform SKUlocation level demand planning across 8 sales warehouses 29 cities and 5000 retail outlets.
Apply statistical forecasting models trend analysis and scenario simulations to manage demand volatility.
Integrate data from FieldAssist (SFA) distributor secondary stock promoter feedback and E-commerce /
Quick-commerce partner systems.
Create automated dashboards and planning reports using advanced Excel Power BI or similar BI tools.
Provide analytical inputs for monthly S&OP; cycles and manage weekly demand planning reviews.
Execute and manage MRP runs aligned with approved S&OP; plans and supply constraints.
Optimize inventory levels safety stock norms and replenishment frequency using data-driven logic.
Identify risks of stock-outs excess and slow-moving inventory through predictive indicators.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Manufacturing Packhouses Warehousing Finance and
E-commerce teams.
Support festive season planning promotions and new product launches through demand simulations.
Drive continuous improvement automation and digitalization initiatives in demand planning processes.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong expertise in FMCG demand planning S&OP; and MRP processes
Advanced analytical skills with Excel (Power Query Power Pivot) and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
Understanding of statistical forecasting techniques and demand sensing
Experience working with ERP SFA E-commerce and distributor data systems
Strong stakeholder management and data-driven decision-making capability
Education & Experience
MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain Operations Analytics or equivalent preferred. 36 years of experience in
analytics-driven demand planning within FMCG retail or omnichannel businesses. Exposure to E-commerce and
Quick-commerce operations is an added advantage.
