Internal Communications Specialist

The Opportunity

Join Australasias largest and fastest-growing bus operator on our exciting journey making bus travel safer cleaner and greener for people and the role sits at the centre of internal communications helping to inform engage and connect a diverse frontline workforce across Australia while also offering the opportunity to contribute to how the role continues to take shape.

This role can be based in either Melbourne or the Gold Coast.

What Youll Be Doing

• Create engaging peoplefirst internal communications that keep both our frontline and officebased teams informed aligned and connected
• Own and shape our employee app (Blink) building compelling content that drives engagement and continuously improves how we communicate
• Turn complex or operational information into clear practical and easytounderstand messages that resonate with a dispersed workforce
• Plan and manage internal content across multiple channels ensuring the right message reaches the right audience at the right time
• Partner closely with teams across the business to uncover stories that matter and bring our culture and values to life
• Support internal events campaigns and change initiatives that help our people feel informed involved and proud to be part of Kinetic

About You

Youre a natural internal storyteller ideally with a flair for writing and you thrive in fastpaced operational environments. Youre comfortable communicating with people who arent always behind a desk and take pride in creating communications that are practical engaging and easy to understand with just the right creative touch.

Youll bring:

• A few years experience in communications or a related role
• Exposure to internal communications ideally within a dispersed or frontline workforce
• Strong writing skills with confidence simplifying complex or technical information
• Experience using employee communication platforms (Blink experience highly regarded)
• A collaborative mindset curiosity and an appetite to grow with the role
