Role Description

As a Water Quality and Operations Consultant you will have a key role in establishing our market position and value proposition to grow our Water Planning and Applied Research business across the Country. You will be responsible for collaborating with national and regional leaders to develop and implement winning strategies that drive business development and enhance delivery capabilities for drinking water wastewater stormwater and intelligent/one water planning and research-related projects and programs.

Role Accountabilities

  • Provide national perspective to understand current conditions emerging client needs regulatory drivers technology advancements and other factors influencing the market.
  • Collaborate with global national and regional leaders to develop and implement strategic plans to grow Arcadiss Resilience Water Planning Practice. This includes current focus areas around the Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR) / Lead and Copper Rule Improvements (LCRI)PFAS Resource Recovery and Intelligent/One Water services.
  • Lead programs nationally and throughout Ohio
  • drinking water process optimization work with a focus on helping utilities move towards a ML/AI real-time implementation.
  • technical advisor/reviewer for water quality and treatment work pfas microplastics HABs/algae pilot testing modeling legionella emerging contaminants GAC/biofiltration
  • Research work including AWWA and water research foundation

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Environmental Science or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in the water industry with a focus on water planning applied research and LCRR/LCRI

Key Skills and Attributes

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and regulatory agencies in the areas of water quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team with strong interpersonal and relationship building skillsexcellent atbuildingboth internal and client relationships.
  • Broad understanding of water resilience principles regulations and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Engineering Environmental Science or a related field.
  • 15 years of experience in the water industry with a focus on water planning applied research and LCRR/LCRI.
  • Professional certification such as Professional Engineer Certified Water Operator or Project Management Professional

We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per salary range for this position is $114000 - $195000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience education budget internal equity project and location.
