This position serves as a member of the unit Treatment Team and is responsible for a caseload of assigned patients. Completes social work assessments and participates in formulation of patients IPOS. Provides individual therapy and group psychotherapy to patients. Makes entries in the medical record and administrative record. Prepares reports used for internal operations and submission to courts of law. Provides educational services to patients and families and offer family therapy to patients families and significant others. Participates in discharge planning for patients. As a Certified Forensic Examiner conducts forensic evaluations prepares reports for submission to criminal courts and offers testimony as an Expert Witness in legal proceedings.

Education
Possession of a masters degree in social work.
Experience
Clinical Social Worker 9
No specific type or amount is required.
Clinical Social Worker 10
One year of professional experience providing social casework and treatment services setting equivalent to a Clinical Social Worker 9.
Clinical Social Worker P11
Two years of professional experience providing social casework and treatment services setting equivalent to a Clinical Social Worker including one year equivalent to a Clinical Social Worker 10.
Registration as a social worker by the Michigan Board of Examiners of Social Workers.
The preferred and appointed candidate will be subject to pre-employment random post-accident reasonable suspicion return-to-duty and follow-up drug and/or alcohol testing.
