We are working with a popular and vibrant two-form entry multi-cultural school in Birmingham to appoint a proactive and professional Office Manager for a March 2026 start. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrator to lead a friendly office team and play a key role in the daily operations of a highly successful primary school and Multi-Academy Trust.
The Role Reporting directly to the School Business Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of the school office. This is a permanent full-time position requiring a dedicated professional who can balance administrative excellence with effective line management.
Hours: 36.5 hours per week (plus banked hours).
Grade: GR3 (27254 - 33699 per annum).
Start Date: March 2026.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Managing and leading the office staff to ensure a professional and welcoming administrative service for all stakeholders.
Operations: Overseeing the day-to-day running of the office including data management attendance and general school administration.
Communication: Acting as a central point of contact for parents staff and external agencies upholding the schools professional reputation.
Trust Support: Working alongside the School Business Manager to support the school and the wider Trust in their continued development.

Candidate Requirements
Proven experience in a senior administrative or office management role (school experience is a significant advantage).
Strong line management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
