We are working with a high-achieving academy in Islington to recruit a diligent School Caretaker for a full-time permanent position. The Role This position involves a broad range of responsibilities from porterage and furniture moving to managing external contractors. The caretaker will be a visible presence on site assisting with the setup of halls for daily use and evening events. A key part of the role is maintaining the schools compliance records including fire alarm testing and water hygiene checks.
Requirements
Knowledge: Up-to-date understanding of health and safety regulations.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with staff pupils and visitors.
Compliance: The school is unable to offer visa sponsorship; candidates must have the right to work in the UK. A valid enhanced DBS is required.
