Central Operations sits within the heart of Boots leading the retail operational activity to make it simpler for stores better for customers and more valuable for Boots. What youll be doingReporting into the Retail Operations Programme Manager you will support store transformation by developing clear robust operational guidance and engagement plans. Youll champion whats right for our stores setting teams up for success and enabling a swift return to BAU while balancing the needs of the business to deliver transformation at pace with a strong store-first mindset.
You will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders across the Support Office including Properties Supply Merchandising Layouts and Commercial Operations. You will act as the voice of our stores within cross functional working groups. You will also work with Directors of Stores Area Managers Store Managers and the SOS field team to support seamless implementation capturing feedback and insights to help shape the future of our store transformation programmes.
As part of the role you will spend regular time in stores supporting the successful landing of transformation programmes ensuring changes are embedded effectively and play a key role in the review processes.
Key responsibilities- Work cross-functionally to develop deliver review and adapt communication and engagement plans for store transformation
- Collaborate with central and field teams to manage updates and feedback feeding insights into project teams to continually improve the delivery of store transformation
- Monitor progress against plans proactively identify risks and issues and adapt delivery where required
- Own Store Transformation content on BootsLive ensuring store teams and leaders are set up for success
- Build strong relationships with BAU Retail Operations Trading Operations and Loss & Security teams to ensure BAU processes are considered aligned and embedded within store transformation activity
