Youre there to welcome them make sure the accommodation is ready and safe and help them understand what holding a tenancy really means. With your guidance they dont just maintain their accommodation they build the confidence skills and stability they need to move on successfully into independent living.
What youll be doing
- Help residents move into safe well-prepared accommodation.
- Support young people to understand their tenancy rights and responsibilities.
- Monitor and evidence each young persons ability to live independently ensuring they understand the realities of sustaining a tenancy before move-on.
- Tackle challenges like rent arrears anti-social behaviour or property issues.
- Contribute to move-on readiness and planning supporting clear expectations and positive progress.
- Work with partners to find move-on housing options and prevent homelessness.
- Support a service model that offers up to 12 months length of stay (subject to review).
