About You and the role:

As a Senior Treasury Specialist based out in Mumbai your role within Treasury Operations is an advanced role combining responsibilities across both Funding and Financial Operations. You will be responsible for performing a broad range of complex work requiring in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in Treasury as well as basic knowledge of related job disciplines. You will work independently within broad guidelines and policies with minimal guidance and act as a resource for colleagues with less experience. You will solve complex problems take new perspectives on existing solutions and exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. Your work performed in this role significantly impacts on the quality efficiency and effectiveness of Treasury Operations and the broader Finance organization.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage daily cash operations including cash positioning clearing settlement activities and optimization of liquidity.
• Oversee and ensure compliance operational stability and reporting for Dow Facility Lines working capital facilities credit lines and corporate debt in the EMEAI region.
• Lead bank account management activities including compliance rationalization governance and alignment with Corporate Treasury strategy.
• Oversee the regional portfolio of Letters of Credit Bank Guarantees subsidized loans local facilities and JV arrangements.
• Prepare forwardlooking liquidity forecasts develop interest income and expense projections and conduct adhoc financial analyses as required to support Treasury decisionmaking.
• Provide subject matter expertise and issue resolution for complex cash funding or banking-related matters; partner cross-functionally to resolve inefficiencies.
• Drive process improvements documentation training development and implementation across Treasury Operations to improve accuracy efficiency and compliance.
• Provide Treasury expertise for cross-functional projects adhoc inquiries and structured finance or leasing-related activities.

Qualification

• University bachelors degree required in Finance-related field.
• Masters Degree Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or other relevant Finance Certification preferred.
• Preferred 7-10 years of relevant work experience.
• Expanded conceptual knowledge of Treasury and basic understanding of related Treasury disciplines.
• Working knowledge of Treasury Management Systems (TMS) SAP and related treasury technologies.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities with the ability to interpret financial data and generate meaningful insights.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across a matrixed multinational organization. Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
• Prior experience succeeding in complex global MNC treasury environments demonstrating comfort operating in matrixed structures.
• A naturally curious mindset with a proactive approach to problemsolving and process improvement.
• Strong prioritization time management and independent decisionmaking skills.
• Demonstrated drive motivation and aspiration to advance and grow into higherlevel Treasury responsibilities within a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems with little or no precedent.
