Job Description

Description: Candidate MUST work onsite at Nokia Dallas Office
Day Shift 6am-3pm

Candidates MUST have previous experience to meet the following:
Monitor network systems including IP fiber and Private LTE (PLTE) environments using monitoring tools and alarms.
Identify troubleshoot and escalate outages or performance degradation across wired and wireless networks.
Open manage and update incident tickets within SLA requirements.

The Team:
Dallas NOC team provides 24x7 T1 and T2 monitoring and RTS support to a diverse set of Nokia clients. Clients include major US Enterprise fiber backbone providers utility companies clients with current and legacy equipment who require RTS/OTS/RES support and other clients who require a common triage point for their techs to obtain pass-through support from multiple vendors.

Core Responsibilities:
Monitor network systems including IP fiber and Private LTE (PLTE) environments using monitoring tools and alarms.
Identify troubleshoot and escalate outages or performance degradation across wired and wireless networks.
Open manage and update incident tickets within SLA requirements.
Perform initial triage and basic root cause analysis.
Communicate outages and updates clearly to customers vendors and internal teams.
Coordinate with Tier 2/3 teams RF engineers and vendors during incidents.
Document incidents resolutions and post-incident reports.
Support scheduled maintenance and after-hours work as required.

Strong written and verbal communication (clear concise professional).
Ability to remain calm and focused during high-severity outages.
Strong time management and prioritization skills.
Attention to detail (timestamps impact accuracy).
Ability to follow process and escalate appropriately when needed.
Customer-focused mindset with urgency and accountability.
Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills.

Technical Skills (Preferred but not required)
Private LTE (PLTE) fundamentals
Basic understanding of LTE architecture (eNodeB 5G basics)
Ability to recognize PLTE-related alarms and service impacts
Network monitoring tools (Altiplano Manta Ray NSP etc.)
Experience working with ticketing systems (ServiceNow Remedy etc.).
Understanding of SLAs escalation procedures and incident management.
