We are now hiring a Senior Product & Sourcing Engineer to join our team on-site in Lahore (DHA). This role is critical for product planning supplier sourcing negotiation and technical process definition throughout the full lifecycle of garment production.
Tasks
You will be responsible for:
- Analyzing garment products and defining exact manufacturing steps materials and process flows required for production.
- Calculating material consumption fabric yield markers allowances and full technical specifications.
- Documenting product structures including stitches trims materials process sequence and machine requirements.
- Conducting supplier sourcing for each production step (fabric processing cutting sewing trims printing/embroidery etc.).
- Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure competitive pricing and terms while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
- Coordinating production timelines and ensuring correct sequencing of tasks to meet delivery expectations.
- Managing relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure alignment with production plans and performance expectations.
- Maintaining accurate technical documentation process descriptions and supplier capability records.
- Identifying risks and proposing feasible solutions to address issues before they impact schedules or quality.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who has:
- Senior-level experience (typically 610 years) in product engineering manufacturing processes textile/apparel production or related roles.
- Deep understanding of garment construction processes and textile manufacturing fundamentals.
- Strong ability to interpret and calculate material requirements fabric specifications and production tolerances.
- Experience sourcing suppliers and negotiating commercial terms in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent organization planning and time-management skills capable of managing multiple production streams.
- Strong communication skills and ability to maintain professional supplier relationships.
- A structured problem-solver mindset and disciplined documentation habits.
- Prior experience in apparel textile or product engineering preferred.
- Location requirement: Must be on-site in Lahore DHA Pakistan.
- Working days: MondayFriday 9:00 AM 6:00 PM.
