The Leidos Digital Modernization Sector is seeking a qualified and trained Computer Scientist Sr. for a role in an engineering support services program for U.S. Army customers at Aberdeen Proving Grounds MD. The Computer Scientist Sr. is responsible for performing the software engineering function including the design development testing troubleshooting and debugging of software programs for enhancements and new software- intensive systems and products to bring about the successful completion of the CYBERTRON program goals and objectives.
The CYBERTRON program delivers highly skilled engineering services to the U.S. Army C5ISR Center in their mission of cybersecurity research and development and cryptographic modernization.

Your Role and Responsibilities As a Computer Science Senior
Performs requirements analysis design and coding methodologies; data base design approaches; documentation standards.
Applies appropriate principles standards processes procedures and tools throughout the software/system development life cycle.
Analysis of hardware compatibility development of software products and tools used for design development and maintenance of infrastructure and platforms.
Basic Qualifications
Must be a US Citizen and possess a Secret Clearance
Bachelors degree in computer science electronics engineering or other engineering/technical discipline or 10 years of relevant experience.
Appropriate DoD 8750 certification (Security or higher).
Have experience in a variety of software programming languages.
Have experience in a variety of business systems and applications.
Requires expert knowledge of and ability to apply advanced technical principles theories and concepts
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters in computer science electronics engineering or other engineering/technical discipline with 6 years of relevant experience.
Eligible for TS / SCI
Experience supporting Army programs
Clearance Required:
Must possess an active DoD Secret clearance at time of consideration
