Education Qualification: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Job Description :

The Business Analyst will act as a bridge between business and technology teams defining clear and actionable requirements to support Agile delivery. This role involves capturing functional and non-functional requirements creating detailed user stories with acceptance criteria and ensuring alignment with INVEST principles and Definition of Ready. The analyst will collaborate with architects developers and product owners to manage dependencies maintain accurate Jira documentation and facilitate planning and refinement sessions while ensuring efficient communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities
Provide support to the architects and developers in defining technical solutions
Comfortable capturing both functional & non-functional requirements
Split Epics into a set of deliverable User Stories
Create clear detailed User Stories and acceptance criteria in line with Definition of Ready and applying INVEST principles
Assist the Delivery Manager and Product Owner with the estimation of timescales resources and planning through input of requirements and system knowledge
Identify dependencies and efficiencies e.g. from re-use relating to requirements
Act as a bridge between technology and business teams
Work with Specsavers Business Analyst & Product Owner to ensure Jira is kept up-to-date to support relevant Structure reports are accurate
Facilitate appropriate events with the development team (planning refinement 3 amigos etc.)
Inform the Delivery Managers of any material changes to the scope/estimates
Support engineers with understanding the scope of stories
Engage and resolve issues with Product Owners other Business Analysts and SMEs relating to queries on stories
Create relevant documentation to support transition to Production/Service Management team


Must Have Skills:
Strong requirements gathering documentation and process mapping skills
Ability to translate business needs into clear technical specifications
Experience with agile delivery user stories and acceptance criteria
Solid understanding of system integrations and data flows
Proficient with tools such as Jira and Confluence
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
