The Climbing Instructor is a member of Cougars Athletics and Recreation which actively creates promotes and sustains an environment in which the Mount Royal University community is challenged and supported in pursuit of personal growth in sport and leisure.
Reporting the Adventure Programming Supervisor the Climbing Instructor is part of the programs and services team. The Climbing Instructor is responsible for providing climbing skills-based teaching during MRU Climbing Centre programs and private bookings. The ability to effectively manage risks inherent to climbing and attention to detail are integral to success in this position as well as a passion for teaching a variety of demographics and facilitating a positive learning environment.

Salary: $24.81 - $31.38 per hour
