POSITION: Elementary STEM Teacher Rossford Elementary School
Rossford Schools is seeking a creative student-centered educator to serve as an Elementary Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Teacher for the school year. This is an exciting opportunity to help students become curious thinkers confident problem-solvers and enthusiastic creators through hands-on inquiry-based learning experiences. The STEM Teacher will design innovative lessons that encourage exploration collaboration and real-world applicationsupporting the district vision of preparing inspiring and empowering all students to achieve success.

Position Overview
The Elementary STEM Teacher directs and evaluates student learning experiences in STEM instruction and STEM-related activities sponsored by the school. The teacher supports student growth through high-quality instruction effective classroom management collaboration with families and colleagues and responsible management of STEM materials and equipment.
Qualifications
Appropriate Ohio teaching licensure required. Candidates with STEM-aligned licensure or endorsements (e.g. Science Mathematics Integrated Science Technology Education) and/or demonstrated experience designing and leading STEM learning experiences are strongly encouraged to apply.
Strong organization and communication skills
Commitment to supporting all students and upholding professional ethics
Ability to collaborate effectively with staff and families
Responsibilities
STEM Instruction & Student Learning
Plan and deliver effective STEM instruction aligned to standards and student needs
Create engaging learning experiences that emphasize inquiry design thinking hands-on exploration and real-world connections
Use checks for understanding and periodic assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction
Classroom Culture & Student Support
Collaboration & Professional Responsibilities
Maintain required records and communicate effectively with parents/guardians
Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional learning and meetings as adopted in the district calendar
Assist with maintaining and tracking STEM supplies/equipment and support ongoing STEM curriculum updates
Fulfill responsibilities as outlined in applicable job description(s) including other duties as assigned by the Principal or Superintendent of Schools STEM Teacher Job Description
