Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Small Animal Veterinarian to join our team. Located in Delphos Ohio Our Clinic is a well-established practice offering comprehensive veterinary care to small animal patients. We are looking for a compassionate veterinarian who is passionate about providing high-quality care to pets and building long-lasting relationships with their owners. Key Responsibilities:

Veterinary Care: Provide excellent medical care to small animal patients including wellness exams vaccinations diagnostics and treatment of various illnesses and injuries.
Surgical Skills: Perform routine surgeries such as spays neuters and dental procedures along with more advanced surgical procedures as needed.
Client Communication: Educate clients about their pets health preventive care and treatment options. Build strong relationships with pet owners through clear communication and compassionate care.
Diagnostics: Utilize diagnostic tools such as digital radiography ultrasound and in-house laboratory services to effectively diagnose and treat patients.
Emergency Care: Provide emergency care during regular hours handling urgent cases with skill and professionalism.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with a team of veterinarians veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure high standards of patient care and clinic efficiency.
Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate medical records for each patient ensuring compliance with clinic protocols and regulatory standards.
Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine through continuing education opportunities and engagement in professional organizations.

Qualifications:

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school.
Valid veterinary license to practice in Ohio (or the ability to obtain one).
1-2 years of clinical experience preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Strong interest in small animal medicine surgery and preventive care.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Compassionate detail-oriented and dedicated to providing the best possible care for pets and their families.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Experience with emergency care is a plus but not required.
