Job Summary:

KBRis currently seekingan Intermediate Logistician Purchasing Coordinator to join our team in theAberdeen Proving Ground Maryland location in support our customer Project Manager Intelligence Systems & Analytics Army (PM IS&A).

Roles and Responsibilities:

Coordinate purchases through various contract vehicles including Common Hardware System (CHS and CHESS)
Define purchase requirements with stakeholders
Coordinate for funding approvals for large scale purchases
Track multiple delivery orders over extended periods
Report and brief status to senior leadership
Conduct property accountability assisting with lateral transfers and traceability of equipment on site
Detail-oriented with technical verbal and written communication skills

Basic Qualifications:

Active Secret clearance.
Bachelors Degree in Logistics Business Administration/Management or Technical.
A minimum of eight (8) years of related logistics experience
Direct experience in coordinating purchases through various contract vehicles including Common Hardware System (CHS and CHESS).
Direct experience in defining purchase requirements with stakeholders
Experience with coordination for funding approvals for large scale purchases
Experience in tracking multiple delivery orders over extended periods
Experience in reporting and briefing status to senior leadership (O6 and/or above)
Experience in Property Accountability to assist with lateral transfers and traceability of equipment on site
Allowable substitution: Twelve (12) years of logistics experience or a certified Professional Logistician (CPL) certificate with eight (8) years additional related experience may be substituted for education

Compensation:

$89210.00 - $133760.00. The salary range posted is for Maryland locations. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates location knowledge skills abilities and/or experience contract affordability and in consideration of internal parity.
