Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst consultant to support Salesforce Revenue Cloud implementations for clients in the Financial Services industry with a strong preference for Payments domain experience. This role operates within a Salesforce implementation partner model working closely with Solution Architects Product Owners and delivery teams to lead requirements elicitation documentation and client workshops.
The ideal candidate brings deep payments and revenue domain knowledge strong consulting presence and the ability to translate complex client needs into clear actionable functional requirements that enable scalable Salesforce Revenue Cloud solutions. This role operates within a Salesforce implementation partner model and is responsible for client-facing functional leadership across discovery design and delivery phases for Salesforce Revenue Cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Client-Facing Requirements Leadership
- Lead requirements elicitation through client interviews workshops and discovery sessions.
- Facilitate structured workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
- Translate client business objectives into detailed functional requirements user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Lead structured business discovery and solutioning workshops with client stakeholders.
- Facilitate functional design sessions to validate Revenue Cloud capabilities against client business models.
- Translate client objectives into clear prioritized functional requirements user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Act as the primary functional interface between client stakeholders and Salesforce delivery teams.
Revenue Cloud & Quote-to-Cash Functional Expertise
- Document functional requirements for Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ Billing).
- Support product catalog modeling pricing structures discounting subscriptions and billing processes.
- Analyze end-to-end Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) workflows to support scalable revenue operations.
- Ensure requirements align with Salesforce best practices and implementation patterns.
Financial Services & Payments Domain Support
- Provide subject matter expertise in payments ecosystems and transaction lifecycles.
- Document requirements related to payment authorization capture settlement reconciliation refunds and chargebacks.
- Support integration requirements with payment gateways processors and ERP systems.
- Ensure alignment with financial controls auditability and compliance considerations.
Documentation Validation & Delivery Support
- Produce high-quality functional specifications process flows and data mappings.
- Support backlog refinement sprint planning and solution walkthroughs.
- Lead and support UAT planning execution and defect resolution.
- Ensure delivered solutions meet approved requirements and client expectations.
- Support pre-sales activities including discovery workshops solution validation and RFP responses.
- Contribute to functional scoping assumptions and effort estimation for Revenue Cloud implementations.
- Partner with Solution Architects during early solution design to ensure functional feasibility and alignment.
Required Qualifications
- 8 years of Business Analysis or Functional Consulting experience.
- 5 years of Financial Services experience preferably Payments.
- Proven experience supporting Salesforce implementations preferably Revenue Cloud.
- Strong expertise in requirements elicitation documentation and workshop facilitation.
- Experience working in client-facing consulting roles.
- Strong understanding of Quote-to-Cash processes and revenue operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ & Billing).
- Experience supporting payments integrations and financial systems.
- Familiarity with ERP platforms (SAP Oracle NetSuite).
- Experience working for Salesforce implementation partners.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g. Administrator Sales Cloud Service Cloud CPQ or Revenue Cloud) are preferred.
