Scope of Project
The DC Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) is seeking an Amazon Connect CCaaS Specialist to design implement and maintain a cloud-based contact center using Amazon Connect. The role focuses on contact flow design integrations reporting security compliance and optimization to ensure high availability performance and alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities:

Design document and implement Amazon Connect contact flows for dynamic call routing

Develop and deploy chatbots and conversational AI using Amazon Connect and AWS services
-
Configure and maintain Amazon Connect instances users routing profiles and security profiles
-
Ensure KPI metrics are captured and available within Amazon Connect
-
Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Amazon Connect and Amazon QuickSight
-
Monitor usage and performance using Amazon CloudWatch and report findings
-
Configure outbound voice campaigns and customer surveys ensuring regulatory compliance
-
Design and implement integrations with CRMs and other systems using AWS Lambda and related services
-
Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with District OCIO and security controls
-
Apply change control and configuration management best practices
-
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the Amazon Connect environment
-
Implement system enhancements to improve reliability availability and performance
Required/Preferred Skills:

Hands-on experience with Amazon Connect CCaaS (not AWS infrastructure)

Hands-on AWS CI/CD experience to deploy code and customize Amazon Connect services

3 years of hands-on experience with Amazon Connect and AWS cloud services

Experience integrating AWS services (Lambda DynamoDB S3 Lex)

Strong understanding of VoIP Customer Experience (CX) strategies and system integration
-
Experience configuring Amazon Connect reporting and KPI dashboards
-
Workforce optimization experience (forecasting capacity planning scheduling FCS)
-
Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT Engineering or equivalent experience
-
Strong communication and collaboration skills
