Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP Functional Tester with strong Oil & Gas domain knowledge to support testing activities across SAP modules and industry-specific solutions. The candidate will be responsible for validating end-to-end SAP business processes ensuring system quality and aligning SAP solutions with Oil & Gas operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements and functional specifications related to Oil & Gas operations.
Design and execute functional integration regression and UAT test cases in SAP.
Validate end-to-end business scenarios such as Procure-to-Pay Order-to-Cash and Record-to-Report.
Perform testing across SAP modules including:
- SAP IS-Oil / SAP Oil & Gas
- SAP MM SD FI/CO PM PS JVA (as applicable)
Prepare and manage test data related to wells materials pricing contracts assets and partners.
Execute testing for upstream midstream and downstream business processes.
Validate pricing taxation royalties joint venture accounting and revenue distribution.
Log track and manage defects using test management tools (e.g. ALM Jira Azure DevOps).
Work closely with SAP functional consultants developers and business users to resolve issues.
Validate SAP integrations with third-party systems (e.g. SCADA trading logistics).
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and obtain business sign-off.
Ensure compliance with Oil & Gas regulatory and reporting requirements.
Prepare test execution reports and support go-live and hypercare activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

SAP Skills

Strong experience in SAP Functional Testing
Hands-on experience with SAP IS-Oil / SAP O&G preferred
Good understanding of SAP MM SD FI/CO PM PS or JVA
Experience testing SAP integrations and interfaces

Oil & Gas Domain Knowledge

Strong understanding of the Oil & Gas value chain (Upstream Midstream Downstream)
Knowledge of hydrocarbon products measurement units (BBL MT MMBTU)
Familiarity with joint ventures revenue sharing royalties and asset-intensive operations
Understanding of Oil & Gas compliance and regulatory requirements

Testing Skills

Test planning test case design and execution
Defect management and reporting
Experience in SIT UAT and Regression Testing
Knowledge of test management tools
