Job Summary:
The Nuclear Medicine Technician performs diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures adhering to safety standards and protocols. This role requires cardiac skills/experience collaboration with the healthcare team and effective communication. The technician will work 5x8 day shifts including weekends as needed.
Location:Orange California United States
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Maintain equipment and supplies in the nuclear medicine department.
- Collaborate with radiologists cardiologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Document patient information and procedure details accurately.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and regulations.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- BLS certification
- NMTCB certification
- CA state license
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technician
- Cardiac skills/experience
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- EPIC experience
Special Considerations:
- Weekends may exceed every other to accommodate unit needs.
- Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered.
- All RTO needs to be included at the time of submission.
Scheduling:
- 5x8 Day shifts
- Shifts are determined by unit needs and may include weekends.
