Job Summary
Job Summary (Electronics Quality Assurance Manager):
- Lead and expand the quality assurance program for electronic products in a low-volume high-mix manufacturing environment.
- Ensure product performance reliability and compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
- Improve operational efficiency and develop scalable quality processes systems and teams.
- Implement and integrate digital/ERP quality tools and workflows.
- Oversee quality management systems (QMS) including ISO 9001 compliance and preparation for AS9100.
- Manage and enhance inspection testing and evaluation procedures across product lines.
- Maintain audit readiness for internal customer and regulatory audits.
- Supervise incoming in-process and final inspections to ensure consistent product quality.
- Validate key performance parameters and oversee environmental and reliability testing.
- Lead supplier quality audits and ensure component/material conformance.
- Serve as the main point of contact for customer quality concerns and resolution.
- Manage nonconformance corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) and quality documentation.
- Drive continuous process and quality improvements to reduce costs and improve yields.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to address defects and prevent recurrence.
- Provide leadership and direction to the quality assurance team.
