Job Title: Project Manager SAP Deployment

Location: New Orleans LA (On-site)

Duration: 6 Months
Rate: $70-75/hr on W2

Role Overview

The SAP Deployment Project Manager will serve as the owners representative for the end client acting as the primary liaison between the client and a managed service provider (MSP). This role is critical to the successful delivery of the clients SAP S/4HANA greenfield transformation which represents the clients first U.S. office (headquartered in Japan).

The role is highly visible and may report directly to the CEO.

Contract Details

Duration: 6 months to start (with potential extension)
Start: ASAP
Location: New Orleans Louisiana Onsite
- Some flexibility for remote work if needed
- Remote candidates may be considered if willing to travel though local (NOLA) candidates are strongly preferred
Interview Process: Virtual interviews with possible onsite final round

Key Responsibilities

Act as the owners representative for deployments of:
- SAP S/4HANA
- Hexagon SDX
- AVEVA PI
Serve as the primary liaison between:
- End client leadership
- Internal client resources
- External vendors
- Managed Service Provider (MSP)
Lead project coordination communication and governance
Ensure project milestones timelines and objectives are met
Translate technical and functional requirements between stakeholders
Operate in a fast-paced high-expectation environment
Support deployment waves scheduled for April (Wave 1) and July (Wave 2)

Note: This role is focused on project leadership and coordination - not desktop support or general IT operations.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong Project Management experience in software deployments
Hands-on experience with:
- SAP S/4HANA
- Hexagon SDX
- AVEVA PI
Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Experience working with managed service providers
Excellent communication stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic evolving reporting structure
SAP rollout experience preferred (module-level expertise not required)

Reporting & Stakeholders

Reporting line may include:
- CEO
- IT Manager
- Consultant acting as IT Lead
Requires adaptability and comfort working with multiple senior stakeholders
