JOB TITLE: Software Engineer
LOCATION: Owego NY
PAY RATE: $47-70/hour (NOOT)

Job Type: Contract (Up to 9 months with potential for extension)
Schedule: 4/10 1st Shift
Clearance: Active Secret clearance required to start

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Design develop document test and debug software using C
Develop new applications and maintain legacy codebases
Apply established software development standards processes and tools throughout the lifecycle
Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines to streamline development
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver prototype and production-ready systems
Analyze system capabilities and resolve issues related to program intent inputs outputs and controls
Ensure all software meets security quality and performance standards

Requirements:

Active Secret clearance required to start
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related STEM field
Embedded C/C development
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and standards
Ability to work in secure classified environments
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Desired Skills:

Bare-metal programming
Hardware driver development
Embedded systems experience (6 years)
Advanced C proficiency (6 years)
