Summary:
-
Support the production of complex multi-function modules used in high-reliability applications across all phases of the product lifecycle
-
Work on complex technical problems and develop innovative and effective solutions
-
Act independently to identify and resolve issues associated with operational product implementation
-
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams including hardware systems and circuit design engineers as well as technical and manufacturing support personnel
-
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
Requirements:

Secret Clearance required to start

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering preferred or a BS degree in a Science Technology Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional engineering experience

Contractor will train on first shift for 6 weeks before transitioning to the weekend shift.

First Shift (Training): Monday Thursday 6:00 AM 4:30 PM

Weekend Shift: Thursday Sunday 7:00 AM 5:30 PM

Ability to read engineering drawings 1 2 years
-
Ability to work in a production environment 1 2 years
-
Electrical testing 1 2 years
-
Failure analysis 1 2 years
-
Experience troubleshooting designs and resolving integration issues in a production or manufacturing environment

Hands-on hardware experience
-
Experience using RF/microwave test equipment and microwave simulation tools
-
Excellent communication and presentation skills
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Desired Skills:
-
Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical field
-
Significant experience in the defense electronics industry
-
Expertise with RF subsystems and hardware including antennas transmitters receivers microwave components LNAs HPAs advanced electronic modules amplifiers mixers switches frequency generation circuits and frequency conversion circuits
-
Experience with microelectronics assembly techniques
-
Expertise with technical documentation such as specifications schematic drawings and test data
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Experience interfacing with customers including delivering technical presentations
-
Prior RF design experience
-
Ability to lead failure investigations related to production or technical issues
-
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team-oriented environment especially with manufacturing and industrial engineering teams
