We are looking for a Mortgage Credit Risk Managerto join us at this pivotal moment share our vision and help shape the future of European banking.What you will be doing
We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Credit Risk Manager to take full ownership of the mortgage credit risk framework for the Polish market. You will act as the central coordinator across policy underwriting governance and portfolio monitoring to ensure all outcomes align with the banks risk appetite and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Framework Ownership: Own the end-to-end mortgage credit risk lifecycle including policy development underwriting standards and decisioning processes.
Policy & Governance: Develop and maintain credit policies; translate regulatory requirements into operational underwriting guidelines and escalation frameworks.
Underwriting Oversight: Oversee the credit assessment setup (valuation documentation and analysis) to ensure consistency and quality.
Portfolio Monitoring: Analyze risk metrics and early warning indicators; identify trends and present mitigation strategies to senior stakeholders.
Process Optimization: Lead the risk-side design of credit systems and workflows ensuring system logic matches policy requirements.
Compliance: Ensure 100% alignment with Polish mortgage regulations consumer protection laws and internal audits.
Skills you should have
610 years experience in mortgage credit risk or secured retail risk management within a regulated bank Experience as a Leader or Team Coordinator would be considered as an advantage
Deep knowledge of residential mortgage products LTV/DSTI frameworks affordability assessments and collateral risk.
Solid understanding of Polish mortgage regulations and supervisory expectations.
Proven ability to translate portfolio data into actionable risk strategies.
Experience coordinating cross-functional teams (IT Legal Valuation Operations) and influencing without direct authority.
Degree in Finance Economics Risk Management or a related quantitative field.
English at least on communicative (B2) level required
