As a member of our QA team you will play a crucial role in shaping the quality of our products. Youll work with industry-standard tools build your own test setups and enhance the stability of our solution. Ideally you have experience with telco test equipment and a solid understanding of IMS LTE networks and related protocols.
To support our rapid growth we are seeking a Performance Test Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team in this role you will work with technologies such as 4G LTE Transport networking TCP/UDP IPSec SIP DIAMETER VoIP and Video/IP protocols across various cloud platforms (Docker/Kubernetes).

Tasks
What youll do:
- Participate in Performance Testing: You will play a key role in our system testing activities by planning performing and executing a variety of performance tests utilizing our in-house framework along with essential tools such as SIPp IxLoad and Seagull.
- System Monitoring: You will monitor the cluster dashboards for components CPU usage Memory usage Disk usage and internal resources like private and shared memory. Additionally you will monitor IMS metrics such as Registrations Calls SMS and analyze trends of failure codes.
- Problem Analysis and Debugging: You will be responsible for analyzing and debugging issues across multiple complex solutions ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems. This includes identifying crashes memory leaks deadlocks reproducing them and provide diagnostics data to get them fixed.
- Quality Assurance and Regression Testing: You will take ownership of the product testing process ensuring the quality and readiness of new features as well as existing ones through comprehensive regression testing.
- Framework Development and Debugging: You will contribute to the development and debugging of our load testing framework ensuring its effectiveness and reliability.
- Process Improvement: You will continuously help to refine and adapt our testing processes concepts and solutions driving innovation and efficiency in our quality assurance practices.

- Hands-on QA Experience: You have solid experience in Software Quality Assurance Engineering with proficiency in both Load and manual testing.
- IMS Expertise: You are aware of the core workings of the IMS architecture and well versed in SIP and DIAMETER analysis
- Test Environment Setup: You have experience in setting up and configuring both hardware and software test environments ensuring they are optimized for testing.
- Industry-Specific Tools: You have experience with industry-specific test environments and tools such as SIPp IXIA IXLoad and API testing tools like Postman.
- Programming and Scripting: You are skilled in programming and scripting particularly in Python and Bash.
- Agile/Scrum Experience: You have experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Modern Testing Approaches: You are familiar with modern testing methodologies such as context-driven testing rapid software testing and session-based testing.
- Containerization: You have experience in developing and deploying software using containers specifically with Docker and Kubernetes.
