Category Manager - Programs & New Initiatives
Location: Bangalore Work from Office

Roles & Responsibilities:
1- Category Growth & Ownership: Build own and scale new categories from 0 to 1 and then to 5X10X a highly challenging and rewarding journey.
2- Vendor & Partner Management:
- Act as the single point of contact for vendor partners.
- Lead deal negotiations pricing discussions and contract finalizations.
- Co-create new products bundles and category-specific solutions with partners.
3- Business & Revenue Management:- Own end-to-end P&L for the category.
- Track and deliver on revenue margins and GMV growth targets.
- Identify and drive business levers to maximize profitability and ROI.
4- Strategic Partnerships: Build and nurture strong relationships with external stakeholders to create long-term value and competitive advantage.
5- Market Intelligence & Innovation:Conduct deep market and category research benchmark competitors and launch innovative initiatives to stay ahead.
6- Business Planning:Prepare growth forecasts pricing models and financial projections for leadership review.
7- Internal stakeholder management: Working with functional teams on demand planning and execution (marketing) product/booking journey improvement (product & tech/low code) process & order fulfilment improvement (operations) and customer pain points identification and resolution (customer support)
Job Requirements:
- Experience: 5 years in Category Management Partnerships or Business Development preferably in a 0-to-1 or scale-up environment.
- Vendor Management Expertise: Proven experience in vendor negotiations pricing and relationship management.
- P&L Ownership: Strong understanding of revenue margins and cost levers with demonstrated experience in driving category profitability.
- Strategic & Commercial Acumen: Ability to create and execute win-win partnerships launch new products and build scalable business constructs.
- Analytical & Data-Driven: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Execution Excellence: Ability to thrive in fast-paced high-growth environments with strong execution focus.
- End to End Ownership of category: High ownership mindset with ability to influence and execute.
