Job Description:

For our Greif Malaysia team we are seeking an AP/AR Specialist to join our team this role you will perform accounting procedures focusing on timely and accurate delivery. Our AP/AR Specialists maintain accounting records make standard calculations and compile financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with investigation of issues for account receivables and payables.
• Prepare and distribute routine production accounting and administrative reports.
• Assist with bank inter-company and quarterly reconciliations.
• Administer data entries and journals for cost accounting and make appropriate corrections and adjustments as required.
• Perform audits on all purchase orders and invoices and manage requisition vouchers.
• Administer and process transactions for vouchers and maintain invoices for ledgers. Reconcile financial statements.
• Interact with plants to ensure proper general ledger accounting.
• Maintain accounting processes and make appropriate corrections as required.
• Assist various departments with processing of monthly closing of accounts.
• Maintain financial statements and ensure confidentiality of all information.
• Maintain filing systems and accounting records.
• Collect organize and maintain data. Administer appropriate coding and update information in processing system.

Requirements

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and 3-6 years of relevant experience.
• Good accounting knowledge.

• Ability to solve problems.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Organization skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
