Our Distribution Center is looking for a dynamic and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is an entry-level position. It is a fantastic opportunity to work for a company that has the rare mix of being a fun yet high-paced and professional work environment. The successful candidate will be well-rounded in industrial mechanical and electrical skills repair experience and knowledge of a broad range of complex facility systems. This position requires excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform complex technical tasks.
Compensation and Shift Details:
- Compensation: This role has a budgeted range of $18.00-$21.61 plus a $1.15 Shift Differential.
- Shift: We currently have the following shift available to add to our team:Full-time - Night Shift (10:00 pm 6:00 am Monday -Thursday / 10:00 pm -6:00 am on Sundays
Key Responsibilities
The role involves comprehensive maintenance duties including:
- Conveyor system maintenance and repair (including rollers and electronics troubleshooting)
- Maintaining associated systems like printers strappers
- Power equipment maintenance and operation
- Weather response duties
- 24/7 on-call availability for emergencies
- Preventative maintenance on dock doors levelers and locks
- Daily freezer/cooler inspections with reporting requirements
- Light electrical and plumbing work
- Battery area maintenance
- Supporting testing procedures
- Coordinating with external vendors
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 years of experience with electrical and/or mechanical repair assembly and troubleshooting
- 1 years of experience with hand and power tools
- Physical capabilities: standing walking pushing/pulling/lifting to 50lbs unassisted squatting bending and twisting throughoutthe entire shift
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently without direct supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience performing preventative maintenance (PMs) troubleshooting and repairs on conveyors
- Experience with various electronic and electro-mechanical systems
- Previous work experience in a distribution center environment
