Role Overview
We are seeking a Designer to join our architecture studio. This role supports project teams in design development presentation drawings and documentation using Revit SketchUp and graphic software. You will collaborate with Principals Senior Designers and project teams across all project phases.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Documentation
- Generate and organize design ideas using CAD (Revit SketchUp) and graphic software
- Produce designs working drawings schedules details and presentation materials
- Assist with project goals plan layout materials and color selections
- Revise and modify documents based on red lines and mark-ups
Coordination & Collaboration
- Coordinate with outside parties and integrate information into project documents
- Assemble and coordinate drawings into cohesive schematic document sets
- Prepare design documents for submission to owners contractors and AHJ
Research & Development
- Research zoning codes building codes and environmental regulations
- Gain knowledge of entitlement processes and local design guidelines
- Assist with site visits as-builts and code research as needed
Qualifications
- Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
- 3 years of experience in a professional architecture office
- Multi-family and mixed-use architecture experience
- Proficient in Revit SketchUp Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication time management and organizational skills
Preferred
- Experience with CAD and Enscape
- Broad experience across various project types and phases
- Interest in expanding knowledge of design trends
