Job Summary
Role: Product Designer (Key Fob / Automotive Wireless Systems)
Location: Milwaukee WI (Onsite)
Duration: Full Time - Permanent
Job Description
- Design and develop automotive wireless system products and user interface control components
- Work on Key Fobs / Digital Key Fobs (highly preferred)
- Experience with Keyless Ignition Node Modules (Start/Stop button) preferred
- Exposure to Steering Wheel Switches is a plus
Product Design Responsibilities:
- Expert in CREO CAD software
- Create and modify designs and engineering drawings
- Develop detailed product drawings
- Create GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) schemes for parts and assemblies
- Perform tolerance stack-up analysis
- Apply knowledge of DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
- Perform or support FEA (Finite Element Analysis)
- Design mechanical devices using CAD tools
- Propose and develop designs using advanced manufacturing processes
- Follow established design practices and standards
