Job Summary

We are seeking an ambitious and inspiring Teacher of Computer Science to join our successful department.

This is an exciting opportunity to teach Computer Science in a well-resourced environment where the subject is valued supported and central to our vision for preparing students for a rapidly evolving technological world.

You will teach Computer Science across Key Stages 35 delivering a curriculum that develops computational thinking problem-solving and programming expertise. You will join a collaborative department with modern facilities excellent technical support and a shared commitment to high standards.

You will have the opportunity to:

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a qualified teacher with a strong subject knowledge in Computer Science
  • Has experience teaching programming (e.g. Python Java or similar)
  • Is passionate about digital education and emerging technologies
  • Has high expectations of student achievement and behaviour
  • Is enthusiastic innovative and committed to continuous improvement
  • Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to the academy community

In our secondary schools we pride ourselves on our innovative approach to curriculum design to ensure all our schools have breadth and ambition for all students regardless of their starting points and barriers. Standard curriculum models dont always engage all students so we constantly seek to innovate and provide better opportunities to develop both knowledge and skills for life.
