Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrician III to support day-to-day electrical maintenance operations for government-owned facilities and systems. This role requires strong expertise in industrial and commercial electrical systems the ability to respond to emergency call-ins and strict adherence to safety security and compliance standards.
Due to the sensitive nature of the work U.S. citizenship and an active security clearance are required.
Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

U.S. Citizen

Active Tier 3 / NACLC / Secret security clearance
-
Ability to pass annual Fit for Duty physical respirator medical clearance and respirator fit testing
-
Availability for emergency call-ins as needed
Key Responsibilities
-
Perform daily maintenance and repair of electrical systems across government facilities
-
Troubleshoot and maintain systems including:
-
Read and interpret blueprints schematics control diagrams and technical specifications
-
Perform electrical load calculations
-
Safely use hand tools power tools and electrical testing equipment
-
Ensure compliance with NEC and NFPA 70E standards
-
Maintain safe work practices in accordance with site policies and federal regulations
Required Skills & Experience
-
Minimum 3 years of electrical trade experience (5 years preferred)
-
Strong knowledge of high- and low-voltage electrical systems
-
Experience in industrial or commercial electrical environments
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Familiarity with government facility maintenance is preferred
Preferred Qualifications
-
OSHA 10 certification
-
Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS)
-
Industrial controls experience
-
Experience working in laboratory environments (e.g. fume hoods lab benches)
