Strategic Planner

Job Summary
The Strategic Planner plays a critical role within the Growth & Strategy department supporting the Market Intelligence & Strategic Planning organization. This manager-level position is responsible for driving data-informed strategic insights across the enterprise by conducting market and trend research competitor analysis and advanced financial and market modeling. The role requires broad business acumen strong critical thinking and the ability to solve complex problems that impact multiple areas of the organization.
The Strategic Planner regularly interfaces with senior leadership and is expected to translate complex data into clear compelling insights that inform strategic decision-making.
The Work:
- Conduct comprehensive market industry and trend research to identify growth opportunities and emerging risks
- Perform competitor and competitive landscape analyses to support strategic positioning and investment decisions
- Analyze large and complex datasets to generate actionable insights across multiple business functions
- Synthesize financial data to develop market models forecasts and scenario analyses
- Perform trade-off and cost-benefit analyses to support strategic initiatives and resource allocation
- Develop high-quality presentations and briefing materials for senior executives and key stakeholders
- Apply critical thinking and structured problem-solving techniques to ambiguous cross-functional business challenges
- Collaborate with internal teams across strategy finance operations and business development to align insights with organizational goals
- Support long-term strategic planning and near-term growth initiatives
What You Need:
- Bachelors degree in Business Economics Finance Strategy Analytics or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience in strategic planning market intelligence consulting corporate strategy or a related discipline
- Experience conducting market and competitor research and translating findings into strategic recommendations
- Experience developing executive-level presentations and brief senior leadership
- U.S. Citizenship required
Bonus If You Have:
- Experience in growth strategy corporate strategy or management consulting
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel Power BI Tableau or similar)
- Experience working in a fast-paced cross-functional environment

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to office location role skill set and level of experience.
