Job Summary

Job Title: Senior Developer

Location: Vila Nova de Gaia Portugal

Work Regime: Full-time & Hybrid

Responsibilities and Tasks:

Ensure the implementation of the departments strategic vision through the management of information systems/software that support business processes;
Ensure the implementation and management of information systems contributing to all stages of the architecture evolution roadmap and ensuring quality and compliance with requirements;
Ensure the maintenance of systems and solutions managing their operation with continuous improvement of performance KPIs mitigating risks and maximizing security;
Manage and coordinate the work of the development team whether internal or outsourced ensuring compliance with agreed SLAs project deadlines and solution quality;
Ensure process documentation in order to guarantee knowledge management of systems and solutions within the Organization;
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the programming languages used and associated technological solutions acting as a specialist in failure mitigation and proposing targeted approaches that contribute to the Organizations technological development;
Ensure continuous improvement of processes and procedures by suggesting and implementing new projects actions and approaches that contribute to risk reduction and the development through the identification and analysis of market trends innovations and best-practice frameworks.

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering or similar;
Minimum of 6 years of experience in similar roles;
Strong proficiency in writing technical/functional specification documents;
Programmer with strong knowledge and experience in C# SQL and REST/ Core Docker PROGRESS (nice-to-have);
Advanced knowledge and communication skills in English (written and spoken) Spanish and French (nice-to-have).
