Job Summary
Our client in the manufacturing sector is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to build and lead a Quality Management System from the ground up while ensuring consistent product quality across operations. The role involves establishing quality standards overseeing laboratory activities training production staff on quality practices and supporting continuous process improvement in collaboration with the Technical Plant Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement complete QMS including SOPs specs and testing
protocols - Establish paddy intake standards and finished product specifications
- Develop and conduct train production staff on quality awareness and GMPs
- Conduct root cause analysis for quality deviations
- Manage laboratory operations and testing equipment calibration.
- Prepare for future food safety certification processes
- Establish quality data tracking and reporting systems
- Work closely with TPM to optimize processes for quality yield and improvement.
Requirements
Degree in Food Science Agriculture or a related field
Minimum of 5 years experience in food/agro-processing quality control including supervisory experience
Proven experience with grain/rice quality parameters
Hands-on experience developing quality systems and documentation
Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP and ISO 22000)
