Job Summary
The person need to have experience in working in following areas/ need to have inclination to Quality Control
1) Dimensional inspection of machined parts. Knowledge of use of Micrometre/ Vernier/ Dial Bore Gauge.
2) Experience in dimensions measurement in Microns.
3) Use of Height gauge/ Surface plate/ Angle plate
4) Knowledge of measurement of oblong concentricity runout perpendicular and surface roughness.
5) Measure and verify dimensions of components wrto drawings/ specifications.
6) Do functionality and visual check of components.
7) Record and report inspection results accurately in the appropriate document.
8) Identify segregate and label non conforming components.
9) Communicate quality issues to supervisors/ concerned persons.
10) Contribute in root cause analysis of rejected items.
11) Do upkeep all measuring equipment.
12) Knowledgeable on calibration requirements.
13) Knowledge of Non Destructive testing is preferred - Radiography LPT Helium leak test.
14) Has experience of in process and final product inspection of Engineering Products.
15) Welding and Painting process knowledge is preferred.
16) Basic knowledge of Environment Health and Safety is must.
17) Knowledge of Xcel and Word is preferred.
Education ITI Fitter/ ITI Jig Fixture
Experience of Tool Room/ Machine shop of Auto Ancillary.
Experience Around 2-4 Years
