Partner Staffing on behalf of our Client we are seeking a Senior Environmental Scientist who wants to build something. This is not a maintenance role. Youll lead complex reclamation remediation and spill response projects for oil and gas clients while laying the groundwork for a new regional team and future satellite office in SE Saskatchewan or SW Manitoba. This role is for someone who thrives on autonomy ownership and growthand wants a clear path into regional leadership.
Requirements
What Youll Do
- Lead reclamation remediation and spill response projects for oil & gas clients
- Act as a technical authority on Phase I II and III ESAs site investigations remediation planning and closure
- Manage scopes schedules budgets and client expectations
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients regulators and stakeholders
- Support business development: proposals scoping and identifying new opportunities
- Build and mentor a regional team of environmental professionals
- Play a key role in establishing and growing a satellite office
- Set the standard for quality safety and execution in the region
What You Bring
- 8 years of hands-on experience in reclamation remediation and spill response
- Strong oil & gas project experience
- Bachelors or equivalent work experience Engineering Geology Agrology or related field
- Registered or eligible for registration as a C.E.T . . . or equivalent in SK and/or MB
- Proven ability to lead projects and mentor staff
- Strong working knowledge of Saskatchewan and Manitoba regulations
- Entrepreneurial mindsetyou take ownership and move things forward
