Job Summary

Deliverables:

Support existing storage infrastructure.
Intergrade new storage infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Support and implement approved changes to existing storage arrays fiber switches and management applications.
Work with clients and vendors on any issues or changes as required.
Work with team and solutions on refreshes expansions and new infrastructure being deployed as required.
Perform acceptance process as new infrastructure is transitioned from Solutions/Build team to Data Center Operations.
Educate rest of team and prepare operational documentation for new technologies being added.

Requirements

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

Enterprise Tier 4 Storage Infrastructure experience - 25%

Parameters:

10 years experience providing oversight to support storage infrastructure.
Demonstrated experience overseeing refresh and transition activities as well as team resources associated with the migration.
Demonstrated experience with replacement of large enterprise complex services and hardware at large critical locations.
Demonstrated experience and in-depth knowledge of modern Data Centre service models combined with a solid background in contemporary Data Centre approaches.

Recent Experience - 15%

Parameters:

Within 3 years.

Documentation and Communication Skills - 15%

Parameters:

Demonstrated experience with assisting transition and refresh.
Demonstrated experience in change management activities.
Demonstrated ability for strong documentation and writing skills.

Project Management - 15%

Parameters:

10 years demonstrated experience in complex projects related to data center uplifts migrations.

Must Have:

10 years experience providing oversight to support storage infrastructure.
Demonstrated experience with assisting transition and refresh.
Demonstrated experience in change management activities.
