The Maintenance Supervisor is a hands-on role responsible for coordinating daily maintenance activities supporting equipment reliability and guiding technicians through safe effective work practices. This position balances hands-on maintenance with team oversight troubleshooting and collaboration with Production leadership.
What Youll Do
- Lead and support maintenance technicians on shift
- Assign and prioritize work orders to support production
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Perform and lead preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
- Communicate equipment status and priorities with Production leadership
- Support equipment startups changeovers and installations
- Enforce safety procedures including LOTO and promote a strong safety culture
What Were Looking For
Required
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience
- Proven ability to troubleshoot industrial manufacturing equipment
- Ability to read schematics and maintenance documentation
- Experience with hand tools power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication teamwork and leadership skills
Preferred
- Experience as a Maintenance Lead Senior Technician or similar role
- Manufacturing or industrial maintenance background
- Preventative maintenance program experience
- Trade school technical certifications or military maintenance experience
