| Job Description: | Overview:
- Support UF/IFAS Extension programs (online and in-person) on natural resources and wildlife in Florida under the direction of the State Specialized Agent in Natural Resources.
- Primarily office and computer-based tasks located on the main UF campus in Gainesville FL.
- Schedule is approximately 8 hours/week during regular business hours.
General responsibilities include:
- Logistical support of program activities records and database management social media communication with program participants preparing and shipping course materials event coordination general office tasks and other non-clerical duties. Most tasks are solitary and primarily computer based.
Perks:
- This position is an excellent opportunity for students to gain experience in behind-the-scenes management of outreach education programs.
- Duties could be adapted based on skills and interests to coordinate with students coursework projects internship or assistantship requirements.

Enthusiasm and interest in natural resource & wildlife conservation in Florida excellent written and verbal communication abilities strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks to accomplish goals and detail-oriented with capacity to follow instructions while working independently. Bonus if you have skills in visual communications graphic design marketing video editing and/or instructional design. |
