JOB SUMMARY:The Clinical Campus Coordinator performs administrative tasks related to managing clinical rotations for LECOMs 3rd and 4th year medical students. Must have strong computer literacy and accurate data entry skills. Must be organized responsible and possess excellent grammar writing and proofreading skills. Attention to detail ability to prioritize and maintain confidentiality are duties willsupport the day-to-day operations of the office of clinical hourly rate is expected to be between $23-29 per hour based on experience.
CHARACTERISTIC JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Promotes and preserves the mission of LECOM;
- Work with 3rd and 4th year students at specific sites managing the administrative tasks relating to the required student rotations.
- Prepare schedules and other documentation designated by the director liaising with other faculty and administrators as directed;
- One on one counseling with students to help them attain career goals;
- Manage VSLO (VSAS) applications and other documentation required by those platforms to facilitate placement at elective/audition rotations;
- Manage evaluations for students at your site. Work with preceptors and students to enter evaluations in timely manner per LECOM clinical education policy
- Facilitate grade questions and be able to respond to the requirements;
- Manage students schedules- be sure they are up to date and evals match the rotations being completed;
- Hold regular touch base meetings with all 3rd and 4th year students
- Hold Town hall meetings with all students to engage them and solicit feedback on rotations documentation of those town halls to be managed alongside Clinical Education Manager
- Facilitate any mental health referrals for students
- Work with students for accommodations and testing.
- Provide help preparing them for Level 2 (facilitate meetings with peer tutors other board prep programs);
- Work with site to provide requirements and work with clinical coordinator at site to facilitate visiting students/auditioning students;
- Manage E-value- monitor annual requirements of students;
- Hold one on one meetings with 3rd year students on a regular basis to earn rapport help answer questions set them up for success- Mid third year meetings: Residency prep;
- Coordinate meetings with 4th year students to review CV Personal Statement Residency Application data Residency interview numbers etc.;
- Communicate promptly and efficiently with students staff and preceptors;
- Manage LECOM Student portal schedule/administer shelf exams portal rotation registrations etc;
- Engage Clinical preceptors for feedback on students and facilitate evaluations completion in a timely fashion
- Maintain filing system for all correspondence and for all pertinent records;
- Assist with content for MSPE letters;
- Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of accreditation processes governing body responsibilities and overall operation of the institution;
- Effectively communicates with affiliated organizations consultants vendors all matters of mutual importance;
- Acts as LECOM clinical education representative with faculty staff students and visitors in a professional friendly manner;
- Maintains FERPA / confidentiality concerning student information/grades and their security in accordance with applicable law and Institutional Policy and Procedure;
- Maintains professional appearance and pleasant demeanor at all times;
- Assists with disposition of incoming and outgoing correspondence;
- Maintains a filing system for all correspondence and for all pertinent records answer phones takes messages and performs various daily correspondences on an as needed basis;
- Participates in designated Institutional activities; and
- Other duties as needed / assigned by the Director and/or his/her designee to maintain efficient and effective daily operations.
- Provide regular feedback to Clinical site Dean ( or their designee) regarding student performance and preceptor engagement.
- Maintain an accurate record of all students rotating the clinical site.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education and experience equivalent to: a high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. An Associate or Bachelors Degree is preferred. A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years work experience in a business industry or higher education environment is preferred.
Successful candidate must possess efficient and effective verbal and written communication skills multi-task and problem solve prepare reports and be proficient in Microsoft Word Excel and other various internet resources to properly support and promote the mission of LECOM.
