Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and reliable Lead Coach to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is looking for rewarding work midweek and on Saturday/Sunday mornings to inspire young children to have fun and develop in our classes. Midweek classes take part at schools and nurseries and on weekends children take part in classes with their grown up to support their development and we support child independence so that they can work with peers and coaches as time goes on. The opportunity is for someone who has 2-3 days midweek that they would like to pick up term time coaching work alongside our weekend delivery 46 weekends of the year plus opportunity for more work if the successful applicant is interested in more weekday coaching in schools nurseries term time and holiday camps.
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality energetic and fun rugby-themed classes to children aged 2 to 8 years old.
Act as an excellent role model inspiring children to engage in physical activity and develop their skills with use of childrens imagination and lots of fun.
Maintain a high standard of reliability and punctuality ensuring all sessions start and end on time.
Build positive relationships with children and parents (and school/nursery staff if undertaking midweek coaching).
Uphold the values and principles of Rugbytots in all activities and interactions.
Requirements:
Passion for working with young children and promoting physical activity.
Excellent time-keeping and reliability to deliver classes on Saturday/Sunday mornings and be that consistent face young children see in classes each weekend.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience in coaching or teaching young children is highly desirable.
