Job Title: SAP Basis Authorization & Security Consultant
Position: Software Engineer

Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Authorization & Security Consultant to manage secure and optimize SAP landscapes. The role involves ensuring system stability implementing robust authorization frameworks and safeguarding enterprise data across SAP environments.
Responsibilities:
SAP Basis Administration
Install configure and maintain SAP systems (ECC S/4HANA BW Solution Manager etc.).
Perform system monitoring performance tuning and troubleshooting.
Manage transport requests client copies and system refreshes.
Oversee database administration backups and disaster recovery planning.
Authorization & Security
Design and implement SAP authorization concepts (role-based access control).
Maintain user accounts roles and profiles across SAP systems.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal and external security standards.
Implement segregation of duties (SoD) and mitigate conflicts.
Support GRC (Governance Risk & Compliance) integration for access control.
System Security & Compliance
Apply SAP security patches kernel upgrades and vulnerability fixes.
Ensure compliance with GDPR SOX and other regulatory requirements.
Monitor and respond to security incidents logs and alerts.
Collaborate with IT security teams to align SAP security with enterprise policies.
Stakeholder Engagement
-Work closely with functional teams to understand business requirements.
-Provide guidance on secure design and authorization during SAP projects.
-Conduct workshops and training sessions for administrators and end-users.
Must-Have Skills:
Strong expertise in SAP Basis administration (installation upgrades performance tuning).
Hands-on experience with SAP authorization concepts and security frameworks.
Knowledge of SAP GRC Access Control and compliance standards.
Familiarity with databases (Oracle HANA SQL Server) and operating systems (Linux Windows Unix).
Experience with cloud-hosted SAP environments (Azure AWS GCP).
Excellent problem-solving analytical and communication skills.
Minimum 5 years of SAP Basis & Security experience with at least 2 end-to-end implementations.
