At Parks Hospitality Group we are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations at the hotel. You will play a key role in ensuring the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes while overseeing kitchen staff maintaining food safety standards and contributing to the overall success of the culinary team.

What Youll Do:

  • Oversee food preparation and kitchen operations during service executing menu items to Executive Chef specifications while ensuring consistent quality flavor presentation and efficient team coordination.
  • Supervise kitchen operations during service coordinating team efforts efficiently.
  • Monitor inventory food storage and ordering to maintain supplies and reduce waste.
  • Enforce food safety and hygiene standards conducting regular kitchen inspections.
  • Actively work side by side with line cooks during service frequently covering stations as needed to support operations maintain standards and ensure smooth service flow.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff to improve skills and ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaborate on planning and execution of special events or menu updates.
  • Ensure kitchen equipment is maintained reporting repair needs promptly.
  • Lead efforts to deliver exceptional guest experiences addressing feedback and resolving complaints.

What Youll Need:

  • 3 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen environment with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Culinary expertise with a focus on quality and consistency.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage staff and kitchen operations.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
