Job Summary
JOB SUMMARY AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel during events at the Grand Tradition Estate & Gardens.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Secure premises and personnel by patrolling all event locations on property. Inspecting buildings equipment access points and permitting entry. Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities informing violators of policy and procedures. Maintain safe environment by monitoring and setting building equipment and controls
- Assist facilities team in other duties as needed.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED and two (2) years of work experience in security services.
- Ability to interface with customers and create a warm friendly and welcoming presence.
- Must be able to work well with all levels of employees and with guests.
- Requires a high level of attention to detail and communication skills.
- Requires high energy and a self-starting ability.
PHYSICAL STANDARDS:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to talk clearly and hear responses.
- Must have the ability to receive detailed information through hearing and to make discriminations in sound.
- Must be able to stand walk crouch and climb stairs.
- Must be able to reach grasp and finger objects and operate business and cleaning equipment.
- Manual dexterity required for keyboard functions and repetitive motions.
- Minimum visual acuity requirements include reading numbers printed instructions and video display terminals.
- Must be able to exert weights of up to ninety (90) pounds of force on an occasional basis and twenty (20) pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects.
